ANOTHER SONG

The earth beneath me starts to break,
And all I love begins to shake.
I reach for words but none belong…
Will I ever sing another song?
I’ve waited long behind this face,
Trapped in strokes of time and space.
Colors scream what I can’t say,
While silence pulls my voice away.
My lips still burn with untold fire,
My hands betray my own desire.
These eyes remember what feels wrong—
And still they search… for another song.
There’s a world outside this painted frame,
A dream untouched, without a name.
But here I stay, between the hue—
Alone, unheard… still missing you.
So if you see me, stay awhile,
And meet my sorrow with a smile.
I’ve bled in colors all along…
Just waiting to become
another song.
